An itty bitty baby that made her entrance in to the world at 34 weeks. I had the amazing honor and privilege to photograph this small bundle several times throughout her NICU stay. It started when Amy (a birth doula, friend and superwomen) asked me to go to the hospital with her for Lotus’s birth.
Although Miss Lotus arrived via a c-section, I loved watching Amy still perform her role as a doula and encouraging the new parents before and after baby arrived! Within a few hours after Lotus was born, we got to visit her in the NICU as well as watch and capture some precious family moments.
Lotus is a small (but mighty) warrior and is now at home with her parents and her sweet big sister!
